Every year, 450 million people worldwide experience mental health problems. We’re supporting mental health charities to tackle the stigma as well as making sure people get the support when they need it most.

Errol Kennedy (Imagination)
From Jamaica’s carnival and marching bands to the glory days of 80’s supergroup Imagination, Errol’s played for bands including Odyssey, Shalamar, Rose Royce, Grace Kennedy, Jamiroquai, Frankie Knuckles, Arthur Baker and Colonel Abraham. He produced the soundtrack for Hugh Masekela’s movie Soweto.
April 7th 2020 Errol drummed 24-hours , and along with Bev Sage (Techno Twins)co-founded Drumathon inviting twenty drummers to join them in creating the first global drumming live-streamed charity event.


Jared Falk
An accomplished drummer in his own right, Jared started playing drums at age 15. He founded Drumeo, an online drumming tutorial site offering video lessons with a number of instructors. Drumeo has also hosted guest lessons from drummers including Benny Greb, Anika Nilles, Bernard Purdie, Thomas Lang, Dennis Chambers, Mark Guiliana, Taylor Gordon, Jonathan Moffett, Tommy Igoe, Peter Eskine, Gene Hoglan, Russ Miller, Stanley Randolph, David Garibaldi, and Antonio Sanchez.


Ash Soan is a top recording studio & touring drummer with artists such as Cher, Seal, Robbie Williams, James Morrison, Cee Lo Green, Celine Dion, Ronan Keating, Adele, The Waterboys, Trevor Horne and many more. He has played various live shows, 8 years of being the house drummer for The Voice, appearing at Glastonbury and the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony (2012) with Mike Oldfield.

Matt Helders
High energy Drummer, vocalist and songwriter Matt Helders is best known as a founding member of the indie rock band Arctic Monkeys, with whom he has recorded six studio albums and in the process of releasing a 7th very soon. He has also spent time recording for Iggy Pop and Lady Gaga.

Tommy Igoe is a world-class musician who has recorded and toured internationally with artists such as Art Garfunkel, Lauryn Hill, Dave Grusin, Patti Austin, Blood, Sweat and Tears, and many others. He wrote the drum book for Disney’s Broadway musical, The Lion King as well as his Groove Essentials Series of Teaching Books. His most recent project is the Tommy Igoe Groove Conspiracy, a 15-piece supergroup.


Drummer, Songwriter & Producer, Simon is best known as the former drummer for Death in Vegas and is currently drummer for Squeeze. He has drummed for Grace Jones, Iggy pop, Ozzy Osbourne, Rick Wakeman, Liam Gallagher, Hall & Oats & Secret Affair.

Mike Dolbear professional drummer with over 40 years-experience is a well-respected educator (Mikedolbear.com), author of best-seller “Rhythm and Fills” and co-ordinator of the 1000 drummers for London’s opening Olympic Ceremony (2012), 500 drummers for UEFA Champions league final, Hans Zimmer’s first live London shows and Ladbrokes drumming commercials (2021).
Mike Dolbear organises the UK Young Drummer of the Year competition, now in its 20th year, clinic tours, drum shows and many other global drumming events.

Thomas Lang
Session Drummer, Multi-instrumentalist, Composer, Record Producer, Author & Educator, Thomas Lang is known for his international session work in a variety of genres such as rock, pop, jazz, & heavy metal. Appearing on numerous albums with artists such as Vienna Art Orchestra, John Wetton (Asia/King Crimson) Peter Gabriel, Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Kelly Clarkson, The Commodores, George Michael & Kylie among many others. He has his own online drum school and also guest tutors at universities & drum seminars.


Glen started playing drums at the age of 8 and has successfully evolved as the indie pop drummer for The Script, he occasionally provides backing vocals for them too.
Glen and The Script will be kicking off their UK tour in Liverpool 19th May.

Cherisse Osei (Simple Minds)
Playing to sell-out arenas and global audiences, professional drummer Cherisse Osei celebrates 16 years of international touring. Working with innovative, upcoming artists and industry legends including Paloma Faith, Bryan Ferry and Mika, she’s currently touring worldwide with Simple Minds.
She has played at the world’s best music festivals and featured on major American, UK and European TV shows. From Coachella and Glastonbury to the Isle of Wight, South by Southwest, Fuji Rock, Exit and Roskilde, she dazzles with versatility and verve. In 2018 she won first place in the Best Live Session Drummer category in Rhythm Magazine’s and Music Radar’s polls.

Jason studied drums at London’s Drumtech where he’s now a patron and visiting artist. He joined The Cure in 1995 performing on studio albums Wild Mood Swings, Bloodflowers, The Cure and 4:13 Dream. Appearing in Trilogy, Festival 2005 and Anniversary 2018. Jason also composes music for film, most notably co-creating the score for the horror/thriller From Within, and with his co-composer Oliver Kraus won the 2008 Solstice Film Festival award for Best Original Score.


Will Champion (Coldplay)
Will Champion is the drummer and backing vocalist for the rock band Coldplay. The band achieved worldwide fame with the song “Yellow” in 2000, and have sold more than 100 million records worldwide. They have won nine Brit Awards, seven MTV Video Music Awards, eight MTV Europe Music Awards and seven Grammy Awards. Will is also a musician and songwriter.


2013’s – Young Drummer of The Year – Matty Brown began tapping on his grandmothers pots and pans aged ONE. From those humble Hackney beginnings, Matty has gone on to drum for pop icons including Stormzy, Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs, Crystal Fighters, Plan B and Rita Ora. Born into a musical brotherhood his father Nicky Brown and Uncle Jerry Brown are two of the leading musicians and pioneers of UK Gospel Music.

Andy Gangadeen
Andy Gangadeen one of the most popular drummers in the UK. He came to prominence in 1980’s with Lisa Stansfield and is now known for his band The Bays and also as a session drummer. His work has included performing with Duran Duran in 1993 on shows such as MTV Unplugged.


Paul Stewart is best known as the drummer for The Feeling. Since signing to Island Records in 2006, the band has released 5 studio albums, the second of which, Join With Us, went straight in at No.1. They have sold over 1.5 million records.

Their unique Jamaican style rhythm & blues sound teamed with lively vibrant performances sells out to crowds all over the UK, Europe & Asia. With albums, hits and a large worldwide fan base – DrumathonLIVE travels with them to Wembley to see their show through Al Moody’s, their amazing drummer’s eyes.


Mike Malyan is a prominent drummer in the Progressive Metal (Djent) Genre. His portfolio includes being the drummer for the UK Band “Monuments” from 2010-2015 & 2019 onwards. Mike’s also performed with Polish progressive rock act, Disperse and French GlitchCore act The Algorithm. Additionally, he is prolific session drummer, YouTube creator & Twitch streamer and an enthusiastic educator primarily tutoring drummers in the Progressive Metal field.

Jerry Brown (Girls Aloud)
Jerry Brown was playing drums on the Gloria Gaynor tour by age 18. He has played with a variety of artists such as Ms Dynamite, Jamelia, A1, Courtney Pine and also for the Fame academy tour. He recently played a promo tour with Tina Turner and is currently preparing for a summer festival tour with Will Young and undertaking drumming duties on a huge sellout arena tour with Girls Aloud.


Vince Dunn is the leader of The Vince Dunn Orchestra and has played with Madonna, Pharrell Williams, Kylie Minogue, the award-winning jazz guitarist Jim Mullen, Derrick McKenzie, etc. Vince will showcase an eclectic mix of songs chosen especially for our amazing mental health charities.

Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs)
Nick Hodgson is a founding member of indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs, and their drummer and main backing vocalist between 2003 and 2012. The band have released seven original studio albums and have world-wide success. Nick is now an independent artist and songwriter releasing solo work and continuing to write songs.


A top session drummer in UK / Europe since mid-1970’s Charlie’s worked with Kate Bush, Tina Turner, Gary Moore, Wham! and as Elton John’s drummer for 13 years. Recording for clients globally including Barry Manilow, Manuel Mijares & Yuri, Alexander Acha, Trisha Yearwood, Glen Campbell & Henry Mancini, playing shows with Tammy Wynette, Don Henley, Clint Black, The Moody Blues, The Guess Who, Julie Andrews, Lisa Stansfield, Chaka Khan, Taylor Dayne, Bruce Hornsby, and Lionel Ritchie.

Derrick McKenzie (JAMIORQUAI)
Derrick McKenzie has been the drummer of British funk/acid jazz sensation Jamiroquai since 1994, recording more than eight albums and touring the world with the band. His unique sound and groove has played a key role in Jamiroquai’s music, and he’s considered one of the finest British drummers playing today. With millions of spotify listeners, many more on other platforms and almost three decades playing around the globe, Derrick elevates drumming to new heights.


Richard Jupp is the co-founder, songwriter, and drummer in the award-winning band Elbow, whom he’s performed and recorded with for over 25 years. Selling in excess of a two- million albums worldwide, he’s toured worldwide drumming in arenas in UK and Europe. Now a passionate teacher at BIMM Institute, Manchester using a mindful approach he incorporates exercise, simplicity, awareness, co-ordination and groove over chops.

UK born with African roots combines cultures to create a unique drumming style. Joining Hans Zimmer’s studio band in 2017 has recorded on various film scores and performed over 100 live shows with him. She also drums for Ghostpoet and Andy Gangadeen’s infamous band ‘The Bays’.


Terl is an British session drummer and producer who has toured and recorded with John Paul Jones, Peter Murphy, Peter Gabriel, Shirley Bassey, Faith Hill, Roddy Frame, Iona, Barbara Dickson, and many others. Terl also has a studio in Sussex where he produces remote drum tracks and commercial music.

We.Are.Alien is a musician, session drummer, multi-instrumentalist, Song-Writer/producer, Radio Presenter, Part of the LGBTQ+ family and a survivor… Autism with ADHD led to PTSD, Eating Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Agoraphobia and Body Dysmorphia. “Limitations are not the end. We just have to find OUR way to get there”.


My name is Jack Heslewood and I’m the reigning Mr World. I’m a Rocket Scientist and aerospace engineering graduate from Kingston University, a Stanford University business school graduate, an Ironman triathlete and last but not least a lifelong and passionate drummer! I’m 28 from Hertfordshire, England.

My name is Vincenzo Infusino I was born in Italy on April 11th 1980 and I’ve had the pleasure to play drums with Baba Sissoko, National Ukrainian Orchestra and Choir, Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and many others. For Drumathon LIVE 2022 I am happy to play for the mental health of young people and the next generation of drummers who our future dreams depend on I hope you’ll enjoy it, please donate and remember STAY GROOVY AND STAY SAFE!


Jose Joyette, aged 11 years, attended the Royal College of Music for juniors going on to perform with world-class musicians such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Mike Oldfield, and Greg Phillinganes. Arrow, Odyssey and Sister Sledge play with international stars such as Norman Connors, Tom Browne, Jean Carne, Nathan Heathman and many more.

Alexis Nunez (The Kooks)
Alexis Nunez, a London native, started playing drums when he was 12 years old and later took drum lessons with Tom Meadow (drummer for Kylie Minogue, Duffy Jackson, and others) Alexis has been with The Kooks since 2012. and he brings a funky flavour to the band.

Meg Learmonth is a session drummer & percussionist best known for touring with grammy-award winning artist & producer Mura Masa where she performed at prestigious festivals & stages such as The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. She is currently playing and recording for a wide range of artists including TikTok star Lozeak.


Nick Baker’s an accomplished drummer, with 50 years’ experience, drums and plays with some of his amazing past and present Drumology students introducing: Scott Henry trained at Shoreditch’s Access Creative College, Alfie Bawcutt is studying drums at B.I.M.M. Institute, Elena Costa A.C.M. Guildford prepping U.K./U.S. Tour with the band “Let’s Eat Grandma”, Max Hurrell-Wills 15, plays the drums for a wide variety of music projects at his school, Oscar Evans 12, is an extraordinarily spectacular drummer.

Matt Green is the founder of the Palace Drum Clinic and is one of the UK’s most versatile musicians. Immersing himself in all aspects of percussion and regularly plays Baroque to Rock with the country’s leading ensembles and groups. His theatre and concert credits include West End productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Abba The Show and Thriller, and productions at for The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Globe. Playing in Big Bands, Jazz Ensembles and leading Orchestra’s around the UK, in 2016, Matt was invited to play at the Queen’s 90th Birthday Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.


Colin Woolway has been playing and teaching drums professionally since 1976. During those years he has done every kind of gig including theatre pit work, jazz residencies, cabaret and variety shows, eight years with rock icon Suzi Quatro, and every kind of situation; you name it, he’s done it.

Phil Gould
Phil Gould is a drummer and founding member of the 1980s band Level 42 and recorded seven studio albums and one live album, achieving global success across Europe & North America. Phil is now an independent artist and producer releasing solo work along with collaborations across Europe.


My name is Toby Howells. I have been drumming since the age of 9, and within the last 8 years, I have featured on countless sessions for the family business, J3T Drum Tracks, and have done many functions for the band Funk 2 Soul.

Crissy Lee
Crissy Lee started playing at 4 years old, now almost 78, she’s still drumming and loving jazz-rock!! She played with the Ivy Benson Orchestra (supporting artists like Fats Domino, Dinah Washington and Caterina Valenti) and her 60’s band The Beat Chics supported The BEATLES on their European tour of Spain.


Commander of Rythmn and Goddess of Groove Holly Madge is not your average professional drummer. She is just as at home deep in a sweaty progressive house set in Ibiza performing with Idris Elba as she is delivering the iconic percussion lines of Hans Zimmer’s film scores in the world’s arenas.

Oli Wiseman
Oli got his first drum kit at 14, and since joined many rock bands playing gigs across the UK. After studying music at ACM, Guildford, with a keen interest in rock music and also electronic dance music, Oli’s pursued a career in hybrid drumming. He’s worked in the live electronic project Wilkinson Live, and most recently as the influential session drummer behind Anne-Marie’s infectious pop beats, even supporting Ed Sheeran on his recent world tour.


Loz plays drums for RIDE and previously for Gaz Coombes, The Jesus and Mary Chain and St Etienne. Loz 2021 mixes RIDE and Gaz Coombes tracks with reworked versions of old favourites and a few surprise tracks.

Chris Bate’s loves to perform at the highest levels. His style leans towards a Fusion / Rock feel with a sprinkling of Jazz / Funk thrown in for good measure, using a variety of setups depending on the musical situations. He reads music and has no problem playing to a click. He loves to play off the cuff and really let the mood dictate where the music goes and ultimately where it ends up.

Emma Holbrook
Emma Holbrook is a drummer, percussionist and producer based in Bristol. She mainly plays jazz, funk, soul, blues and pop for a wide range of artists and bands. These include Paul James and the Drowned Lovers, Hegemono, Starlings and Athea. Trained in the musical bedrock of school orchestras and marching bands, Emma’s developed a love of composing, producing and creating musical scores for short film and contemporary dance. She’s worked with a whole host of international choreographers as both a composer and accompanist.


Belfast’s Ali Brown combines a passion for drumming, endurance, breaking world records and charity fundraising. Ali held the individual drumming marathon record (2003) signing 100 millionth copy Guinness Book of Records before smashing the record again in 2008 playing 102 hours. Since joining the Drumathon family (2020) it’s been tough – as Sharon – Ali’s partner battled terminal cancer passing in 2021. Now more focused than ever Ali drums to raise awareness and funds for charity.

Julien Brown
Julien’s eclectic style, ranging from R&B to Jazz, Pop to Grime, is powerful, accurate, and groovy. Studying music theory and sight-reading, live touring schedules have taken him all over the world with headline appearances at arenas, stadiums, TV and festivals. He’s drummed for the world’s most significant pop sensations including Lady Gaga, Trip-Hop innovators Massive Attack, Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa. Jamelia, Lemar, Kano, David Jordan, Shayne Ward, and his X-Factor Colleagues: Leon Jackson & Steve Brookstein.


Mike Roy, a drummer plays many musical styles from Big Bands, Rock/Funk and Fusion session work. He’s studied with Dave Weckl and both supported and performed with top UK jazz musicians and vocalists. He is truly honoured to have been picked for the ‘#DrumForMentalHealth’ Team.

Madis Mälgand
MADIS MäLGAND has played in rock bands in Soviet occupied Estonia since childhood at Estonian festivals, Soviet army bases and Leningrad festivals. In London since late 1990’s he is playing drums, percussion and producing music for an Estonian World Fusion project called ÖÖ (The Night).


The session drummer formerly known as Mairi Newberry, now performs and records as artist/ vocalist and drummer Devanha. She’s toured the UK and Europe, performed at The Royal Albert Hall and drummed on many TV shows. Her first single ‘Smooth Heart’ from her debut album, had great success, charting at No 1 in the iTunes Jazz Charts. She worked on this with Bill Sharpe and producer Steve Curtis. Not only is Devhana a great Scottish drummer, she also has a wonderful voice and is a great band leader. Despite having faced some horrendous health problems over the past year including a life-threatening bout of COVID, she is determined to contribute her talents for a third time to DrumathonLIVE 2022.

Jason Smith
Jason is a consummate professional and an extremely adaptive, musically intuitive player who loves to improvise. He proudly endorses Impression Cymbals, The Cambridge Drum Company, Code Drum Heads, Pellwood Drumsticks, No-Nuts Cymbal Sleeves System, Snareweight and DB Custom Rods Jason performs in Swing or Jazz Quartets and with artists including Sister Suzie, Katie Bradley, Sarah Mai, Pete Farrugia, Chad Strentz, Si Cranstoun, Rockinem, Krazy Kat Trio, and Sam Calver.


I’m Kirk Brandham, a passionate drummer from good old Luton. I love all things drums. I had a great kick start with both my parents being fantastic musicians. My Dad plays the drums and gave me my first kit at the age of four. My Mum is a solid bass player whom I jammed with for much of my childhood as we travelled around Ireland and Switzerland before returning back to the UK when I was sixteen.

Tony is an Artist and Music Entrepreneur. He has presented many drum clinics & masterclasses alongside ‘Dom Famularo’. Tony is founder of multi-award winning ToneAlly teaching tools and is currently working on his 4th studio album, along with his first drum book.


Mike began his drumming career at 11 years old when he was bought a snare drum rather than the electric guitar he wanted! Since graduating to a full kit he’s been a member of Embrace for the last 28 years. Embrace have had three number one albums in the UK and toured the world. He is also co-owner of Code Drum Heads and Drum-Ed, an online drummers resource.

Stu Hardy
Stu Hardy is an independent, session drummer, percussionist and singer, based in Essex UK. Since the mid 70’s he has toured and recorded with a huge range of Pop, Punk, Indie and Funk artists across the UK and Europe.


Scott found his passion for drums after watching Live Aid in 1985 inspired by the talents of Queen’s Roger Taylor and Genesis’s Phil Collins. He’s probably best known as the drummer for the 60s legends, The Searchers and also plays with The Pocket Gods, who hold 5x Guinness book records. Recently he played drums on Johnny Altman (Nasty Nick from Eastenders) debut album and live shows.
